Kids Can be Published Writers Too!

Do you think that because you are only a teenager that you can't be a successful writer?  Well, you're wrong!  Christopher Paolini wrote Eragon when he was only fourteen and S.E. Hinton started writing  the Outsiders when she was fifteen.  Both books went on to become best sellers and the Outsiders was written in 1967 and everyone is still reading it! Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie from the Twilight series wrote the award-winning script for the film Thirteen when she was only, you got it 13! So if you think that you are too young to be a published writer, you're wrong!  Just believe in yourself and your story and keep trying!

I came across a children writers group on Goodreads.  Here's the link http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/772018-how-to-write-a-script  Goodreads is a site for people who want to share what books they have been reading with other readers.  There are tons of resources and support groups to help you.  Check out Teen Ink, (an online site for teen writers) the link is already on my blog and if you have friends that are also writers why not start a writer's group?  What are you waiting for?  Now get writing!
