This is no a YA book but it's one of the greats and I just started reading it. It's the story of a 91 year old man named Ptolemy Grey who is losing his memory. He goes in and out remembering his past while disconnecting with the present. What makes the novel interesting is it really mirrors how we are when we think about things. We could be in the midst of conversation with someone and they say something that makes us think about something else. Walter Mosley does this in the book. I love it.
It's worth a read because it shows you how you can tell stories in a unique way. More reviews of YA books on my list will be coming soon.
